About Us

1.  We hold the faith which is common to all believers: {Titus 1:4, Jude 3}
2.  The Bible is the complete divine revelation inspired word by word by God through the Holy Spirit
{2 Pet. 1:21, 2 Tim. 3:16}
3.  God is uniquely One, yet Triune, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit {1 Tim. 2:5, Matt. 28: 19}
4.  Christ died on the cross for our sins, shedding His blood for our redemption {1 Pet. 2:24, Eph, 1:17}
5.  Christ resurrected from among the dead on the third day {1 Cor. 15:3&4}
6.  Christ ascended to the right hand of God to be Lord of All {Acts 1:9, Acts 2:36}
7.   Whenever God works in any person through the Word and the effectual work of the Holy Spirit to give them faith, baptism, and to bring them to repentance and confession in Jesus Christ as Lord, we believe that person becomes a new creation ( 2 Cor 5:17, Gal 6:15) in Christ Jesus. Thereby the person is given the gift of the Holy Spirit by the working of God's plan and will and is a member of Christ's body (i. e. the church). We also hold that all work in conversion is God's work and that man and God do not cooperate for the salvation of men (Eph 2:8-9).
8.  Christ is coming again to judge the living and the dead (1 Peter 4:5) and to receive His people to Himself (1Thes 2:19).
Salvation: Those who have an indwelling of the Holy Spirit are saved by God's grace given through the crucified and resurrected Jesus, and not because of their own works or merit. We believe that a saved individual will produce the fruit of the Holy Spirit as mentioned in Galatians 5:22-23. Salvation is the work of God alone...
Prayer: Direct communication with God by God's will and Christ's merit, not a tool to manipulate God or others. Not a wish list. Appropriate in all contexts; public, private, corporate and individual.
Communion/The Lord's Supper:  The Lord's Supper can be most properly defined as a mystery of God.  Christ's body is the bread and Christ's blood is the fruit of the vine (John 6:54).  Christ is present in the meal and we receive forgiveness when we take the bread and drink of the fruit of the vine.  Whenever we eat the bread and drink the cup we proclaim the Lord's death until He comes.  We also hold that everyone partaking should examine himself or herself before they partake.  This is essential, so that they are not partaking of the body and blood of the Lord in an unworthy manner and so we can be sure that we realize or discern the elements of bread being the true body and juice being the true blood of our Lord.  Even though we do not understand this mystery of bread and cup being body and blood, we hold firm to the words of our Lord that it is truly Him (John 6:54, I Cor 11:27-29).
Baptism:  Baptism can most properly be defined as a mystery of God.  God as a gift gives water baptism to men and women.  It is the burial of the old sinful flesh and is the resurrection of the new creation created in Christ Jesus (2 Cor 5:17).  It is the circumcision made without hands and it carries with it the forgiveness of sin and the hope of everlasting life (Cor 2:11-13).  We hold that immersion baptism is the only baptism.
