El Porvenir Christian Camp

P.O. Box 180, Montezuma, New Mexico. Our church family currently attends the summer functions of this Christian camp. El Porvenir Christian Camp is a non- profit Christian Church Camp owned and operated by Independent Christian Churches in New Mexico, Texas, Colorado, Kansas, and Oklahoma. Established in 1956, it is their purpose to provide a unique mountain environment for Christ's Body, the Church, to spread the Word of Christ to non-believers, to refresh and renew the believer and to challenge all people to be Christ-like followers of Jesus and leaders in His Church. EPCC offers camps and retreats for all ages and a place for your church to conduct their retreats and camps. EPCC also offers cabins for rent year-round to refresh and support the Christian individual and family.

SOUTHERN AFRICA MISSIONS

Ivan and Joan Martin are the missionaries who bring the good news to the African people. They have been missionaries for over thirty five years. There were missionaries from America that preceded our arrival by some fourteen years. From all the hard work that has been done by different missionaries, the work has spread all over parts of Zimbabwe. The Churches of Christ/Christian Churches now have 3 hospitals, a Bible college, numerous secular education institutions, 4 orphanages and hundreds of churches that have tens of thousands of members.

Outreach

This mission supplies money to be used for the local need. This may be in the form of gas for a stranded traveler, money for people needing a good meal, or unexpected needs that arise where people need assistance. Our church feels fortunate to be able to help others. Helping others is what life is all about. It is when we realize what the real meaning of giving means.

RMH

Hong Kong Christian Missions; Wing Wong is the missionary that is involved with this mission. He frequents China and brings the gospel to all those who are willing to hear. "Come and see what God has done, how awesome His words in man's behalf", Psalm 66:5. Wing Wong says, "that he and his family and the people in China are so thankful to have faithful people who are generous through their prayers and giving to help them to carry out God's Work in China."
